Our Purpose

At HFP Medical Education our purpose is to bridge the gap between pharmacy education and the realities of clinical practice. With over a century of combined GP pharmacist experience, we share the insights, strategies, and real-world context often missing from traditional training. Our aim is to accelerate the growth of primary care teams by offering flexible, practical learning that goes beyond guidance recitation. We want to support the development of confident, consultation-ready clinicians who can meaningfully contribute from day one.

A Progress Platform

Our goal is to support learners beyond the classroom by providing checklists, practical resources, our Skills Escalator framework, and competency model to empower learners to apply, reflect on and build upon their learning. We feel this enables continued growth in real-world settings, supporting pharmacists to progress with confidence and clarity with support of supervisors on site.

Develop allied health clinicians to safely move beyond the check box review and perform useful functions to patients and practice, better utilising their academic qualification and ability.

We offer flexible learning tailored to the needs of your PCN, delivered either in person or online to your team’s preferences. You can choose from individual modules, full disease area pathways or a bespoke selection to meet your local priorities. Ongoing support is included, with the option for clinicians to visit and shadow our team in practice, providing real world insight to embed learning.

We share tips and tricks accumulated from our combined 100 years of GP Practice Pharmacist experience. We want to fill the gaps in GP Practice Pharmacy Education to empower confident and consultation ready clinicians, rather than merely regurgitate NICE guidelines. We will share what we wish we had known at the start of our GP Practice Pharmacist journeys.
